How many homicides in your hometown in 2017

Only 119 so far in Memphis. Last year there were 136 this time of year. Trending in the right direction.

Population 655,000.

Nashvilles are up a bit this year but still pretty low

Roughly 60 (57 by early July is best I can find on my phone)

Best way I've ever heard MEM described was 'it has all the negatives of Nola, with. One of the positives'.... I think it hit spot on for the most part
