how many guys in general do you know who aren't douche bags? its about 50/50 any way you look at it.

Tons, but I also went through a non-LSU chapter at a time when you would've got hated on for looking like a standard bro. Most of my fraternity brothers are blue-collar guys, not some shaggy hair trust fund kids.

The biggest douches are the freshman and sophomores that try to live life like TFM. Most of them grow out of it by the time they graduate. Though some don't, and those guys have no hope to never not be a douche.
I was in a fraternity and this is just what I observed.

good point. agreed.
i think the thread means in the typical, frat guy douche bag mold, though.
im a douche bag in a totally different way than "frat bros" are.

I was in during the explosion of the TFM stuff, and while I'm sure we annoyed the frick out of people with it, you'd have to be really dumb not to realize we were doing it part in making fun of ourselves. We realized it was over the top and ridiculous at the time, but it was fun. People make way too big a deal out of that kind of thing.

I agree sometimes we would say some tongue in cheek TFM stuff just to make fun of it really.
Some guys are totally serious with that shite though.

this, we were a big frat at LSU in the day, so of course there were a few d-bags, but most of the guys were pretty cool and the guys that I was good friends with back then still keep in touch and get together today, some pretty loyal friends and some super connections and clout, some in areas that you hope to never ask a favor from

Same situation here.. I went to a small school and the Greek scene was tame compared to what you would see in the SEC (which isnt to say we didn't have fun). There were only 6 fraternities, and a lot of guys in a few of the fraternities would never have lasted a day pledging at a Bama or LSU. So in other words, not a lot of guys trying too hard with the TFM bullshite.

What's even more douchey are guys that downvote every post in a thread...

Literally hundreds.
90% of my friends at Ole Miss were in a fraternity, including myself.
People have no idea what they're talking about.

Every human thats ever lived on this planet is a douchebag in some way or another. Being a douche is actually a defining characteristic of our species.
