Yeah it's not all it's cracked up to be. When I was just looking to get laid it was a goldmine - but you're right, it takes the human aspect out of it. It's certainly not ideal for actually trying to meet and date someone. Most of the girls I've dated have been ones that I met irl the traditional way.

Answered this same type thread last year and got called a liar. My number is around 240-250. I had all the names written down up to 205 and lost the list during a move.
