none for me- my wife has quite a few on her phone. I asked her why, she said I'm not ready to delete them - I'm done with that.

I have a few still in my phone...some things, you just don't want to let go of...

My favorite uncle and a good friend.
Just never really had the heart to delete them.

No, but I wish I still had an old voicemail I had saved from my grandmother on another phone line before she passed
this is something that everyone should do...I would give anything to have a recording of some of my loved ones' voices...

3.
One has been dead for 13 years. I've programmed his number into every new phone.
Kind of just wish it would ring one day with his name.
The other was a tour guide in utah who helped me out when I had zero money to explore the desert. Gave me free rentals on side by sides. He found out his wife was cheating on him and disappeared into the desert. They found his remains and cremated him a few weeks later.
I occasionally forget he's dead and call with a technical engine question. His voicemail is still active. Five years later.
The last was a friend in ohio. Guy was single his whole life, met the love of his life in his 40s. Went on his honeymoon. Died a week after he got back of a massive stroke. Kills me every time I see his wife tag him in something on facebook.

My father in law who just died.
My Dad who died 2 years ago.
2 good friends who died 4 and 5 years ago.
Actually, not sure why I haven't deleted them. Maybe I should ask my wife's shrink if it means anything.

So true story: about 3 weeks ago I texted a friend I hadn't heard from in about 3 months. I noticed her fb was gone. Well I got a phone call immediately following my text. It was her mother and long story short, she informed me that her daughter passed away in October. So yea...I felt like shite, still do.

That sucks. Could happen to anyone but has to be rough

12. I still call some of them just to listen to their voice because of what we went through together.

That's really sad. That means her poor mother is holding onto her phone.

Yea, and she added me on fb afterwards. It's seriously the most depressing thing ever. All she posts are old pics of her daughter every day and night. Usually around 3 am. My friend was an only child, so her mom is taking this extremely hard.
