Zero. If I don't have it in the bank I don't buy it. Obviously excluding purchasing a home/car.
Has nothing to do with that. If your ATM card information is stolen they are tapping right into your money. Credit cards are insured and the thieves aren't taking anything from you.
How hard is it to be financially responsible and pay the balance each month? Plus you get the bonus perks. I don't understand why people don't prefer to use credit cards. Especially if you've ever had your card information stolen. It's no guarantee the bank will give you your money back and even if they do it's an inconvenience.

Because they don't know that they don't know.

I'm with you there, but then I buy it with a credit card and get free money back. Pay the credit card off every month and I'm left with FREE money. How can anyone pass that up?

2.
One we use for everyday purchases. Pay the balance off every month. We use it for the perks and money back.

Three, 1 bank card, 1 Amex and a Delta Sky miles VISA...

If you have 0, you're not doing it right. There's money to be made in the credit card game if you play it right.

Three, one that I use for almost all purchases and pay off in full monthly, one in my desk drawer that I haven't used in 5+ years, and a third that's new and I got because we had some big purchases coming up and it has 12 months with no interest. Will pay it off in full before interest kicks in.

They're too busy burying money in mason jars.

One for both business and personal. I've never understood the desire to have a bunch of credit cards.
