I said a few months ago I wasn't going to go opening week because of this. I'll go after the first of the year to a matinee so this won't be in my mind.
I'll be more shocked if something doesn't go down in the next few days at a screening

Yeah, someone who gets that most humans are stupid and will shoot at the first thing they might remotely conceive of as threatening when the shite hits the fan. If I was in a theater shooting and was armed, I'd sure as shite shoot the first person I saw with a gun just on instinct thinking he's the shooter. This isn't like someone holding up a gas station or a bank where it's pretty easy to play hero. Theater shootings are something really only the most highly trained officers and military professionals can effectively handle. It's the worst possible environment to be in, save for a musical theater when people are clearly going to be drunk, high, and tripping balls.

Definitely. Biggest box office release of all time, and they know there will be plenty of people who bring fake guns to the premiere. I don't think they'll penalize these people, they'll just confiscate them. If they didn't do this, it would be the easiest premiere in history to sneak in heavily armed. The cops will be up in arms over this one.

No dolt know your target take a shot are you are assuming every person is a horrible shot? You assume every cc person is gonna spray & pray? Let's try to get one idea in your head because you can't comprehend more than one at a time, A gun nut is the person that is shooting up the place not the cc person protecting themselves.
