Doubt it happens.
Most of these places have alarms and less people on the streets mean the police are freely patrolling, not tied up and overwhelmed like they'd be in a hurricane situation.

Song was released in 1975 and just recently became the #1 song on some rock and roll weekly list. 45 years since the release to #1 obviously is a record amount of time.
Why did it just now become #1 you ask? It is featured in an Amazon Prime commercial which sparked interest in the song.
