How long until the United States elects another gay president?

To my knowledge there has not been one since Abraham Lincoln. But since it has been a big topic in politics lately I could see caucasian democrats making a push for one in the next 3 presidential elections. African Americans would not like the candidate at all, however I think they'd still vote democrat and the candidate would have a strong chance due to constant campaigning by the media. What are your thoughts?

Gay people only make up like 4-5% of the population. Everyone else just pretends to accept gay lifestyle to appear progressive but in a voting booth in private they wouldn't have to do that. No way one would ever win.

It would be weird for sure. I like to think I'd be cool if an Anderson Cooper type moved in the White House, but it wouldn't look very good for America to the conservative countries if we had a gay pres.
