How long should flu fever run?

Mine started Saturday night and is down to 101.2 but I thought it would run its course by now.

The fever generally lasts 3 or 4 days for me...takes a full week for the whole thing to start winding down, though.

Mine started Sunday and I'm at 102. Doc said three days

I would say total of no more than four days with no more than two spikes. And that's rare

I always heard if you treat the flu it lasts 2 weeks; if not 14 days. Not sure about the fever part.
