How many cities have "burned down" and more importantly: how many people have protestors killed?

I live in Louisville and I'm sure in your fox news version of events I'm in some war torn nation since we've had protests, and yet the only people dead were killed by cops. No arrests still either.

If the cause was "opening the country back up" youd be singing a different tune.

Minneapolis, NYC, and LA have been hit hard.

Only the true dumbasses here oppose true peaceful protests.

This was a serious question?

What makes you think I watch Fox News?

Um not no but hell no. Why the frick would we burn shite down and cause violence over this? We've been shut down for months, millions have lost jobs, we had basic freedoms taken from us, and you know what we did? Didn't burn a damn thing down. Didn't destroy a home or a business. None of that. We called and wrote letters to our politicians and bitched on Tigerdroppings

Your michigan baws went bringing their AR's to city hall and were welcomed as brothers by cops, but sure.

It was, and you still haven't answered it, but I'll do it for you: no city is burned down, and no one has been killed by a protestor. There, see, that was easy.

Thanks for helping make my point.

How many unarmed black men were killed by cops last year?

I think it was 4 that were deemed unjustified. 9 total. Essentially a bad night in 70802.

So a black person basically had a better shot of contracting covid and then being struck by lightning than being unjustifiably killed by a cop.

There’s been fires set across several big cities. Minneapolis, NY, Philly to name a few. Not only fires but destruction by tearing up businesses. And according to CNN themselves there’s been 12 people killed due to protesting as of 2-3 days ago

Now it's a clown show. A bunch of wannabe hardasses running to their safe space when they can't understand how society doesn't agree with them. Recycling the same 3 jokes, all witnessed in this thread

Ahhh, I see. We have ourselves a “woke” intellectual. You should have said as much. Please, enlighten us...

Let’s dissect this new BLM cultural phenomenon of being at odds with enlightenment, reason, and statistical accuracy. Let’s evaluate this landscape of anti-rationalism, extending from idiotic, yet socially-acceptable dogma and pragmatism. Please unearth causes for this disregard for logic and evidence that has been fostered and supported by the anti-intellectualist mass media propaganda machines.

Please uncover reasoning for the dearth of fair-minded public intellectuals on the left and lazy, mindless, unending mass of public followers. Can you offer your unsparing indictment of the American addiction to infotainment and our toxic dependency of feeling accepted in our propped-up “click-like-means-im-popular” culture while analyzing the cause of anti-intellectualism and anti-rationalism?

All this while explaining why education is on the decline and illiteracy on the rise? Prove why you’re not a part of an increasingly ignorant public who is dominated by a spoon fed diet of media-driven language and unfounded opinions, indicative of this ridiculous political juncture.

Breonna Taylor was helping treat people with Covid and was shot for no reason, in her own home, and she isnt a man, so I guess she doesnt count.

Are we supposed to just be cool with cops when they do this even if statistically it's unlikely to happen?

The protests are also bringing out a larger point in our society: we've militarized cops and made them unaccountable for their dumbass actions. I dont know why that point is one that doesnt get more traction because it so clearly affects all of us.

Absolutely. It's terrible to see anyone lose their life due to the actions of a bad cop but acting like it's some systemic issue in the US is pretty laughable. He should and will be prosecuted.
