Our family owned properties in Arkansas my great grandpa left us and we sold them 10 years ago. My dad got 80k for his part and went to the bank to cash the check because he wanted some hard cash in a safe for emergencies.

It took them like a month to cash that damn thing because they had to order more physical money.

Then my dad bought a house a few years ago and took 50k cash of that money to the bank for his down payment needless to say that did not go over too well especially when asked where he got the money he joked “oh this is my drug money”

Sure, there's a guarantee, but that just means we'd be carting around wheelbarrows like the Weimar Germans.
