How long does food poisoning last?

Woke up in the middle of Sunday night... Puked and shite about every 30 minutes for about 5 hours.
The puking was only three times. But it was projectile more than I've ever puked in my life style. To the point I was just puking water id drank the last round.
Slept all day yesterday... Finally have some energy, but very dizzy and still have stomach issues.
Haven't eaten much, but am staying hydrated.

Got food poisoning from a hot dog at the United center.... it lasted about 3-4 days if I remember correct. It was a miserable couple of days man, tons of pain and difficult to stay hydrated. Good luck! You should be bouncing back soon.

Yeah, could be a stomach virus. Leaning towards food poisoning though. Nobody else I know has been sick.

Mine lasted roughly 36 hours

Both holes man, both holes. I was puking so hard it was making me shite so I had to puke in a bucket while I sat on the toilet.

Pretty sure he was holding a wash cloth on my neck Sunday night. I think he's backed off though.

What is it called?
Ate oysters with 2 buddies last Friday. We all got sick Saturday exactly as mentioned.
My brother had one single cooked oyster, got the same sickness on Sunday.
We all thought it was the oysters til my bro got sick.

Depends on what you've got.
Usually 2-4 days id say. But you could feel off for day or 2 more.
EDIT: Good youre staying hydrated but dont forget your electrolytes. Pick up some pedialyte or brawndo

24 hr rule baw. Don’t eat anything for 24 hours and nothing less. Drinks lots of liquids and just ride it out. You’ll start feeling way better in a day and your stools will eventually become normal again if you follow said rule.

You must be an alter for my dental assistant who has missed the last two days of work. She knows I frequent these boards and is using this thread to make me think she really is sick.
