If you cause an accident on the interstate that results in massive traffic backups, you need to lose your license as a punishment for causing detrimental losses to commerce, both interstate and intrastate.

It’s unusual for a Sunday with no bad weather. If I have to get to the other side of BR on a Friday or Saturday after 4 pm, I ALWAYS take hwy 190. Old bridge to airline, get back on 190. Stay on that will at least Walker or Livingston then hop on 12.

If going to Nola, obviously take hwy 90 at Lafayette.

They had classes Thursday & Friday. It’s not a full week. Even if it was, that wouldn’t be enough to gridlock the whole city

10W is a shitshow

and yet one of their biggest priority was to make a law saying you cant use the left lane of 2 lane interstates so they get a new revenue stream writing BS tickets over

even the cops agree that was the stupidest law ever passed but they use it as an excuse to meet ticket quotas and/or conduct random searches without cause in the hope to find a crime

im not anti law enforcement but i am against ticketing people for using both lanes of a 2 lane interstate and using those stops for no cause searches

State Trooper friend of mine says there should be a device that locks the phone when you get in a car. People yapping on their phone while trying to drive is a recipe for disaster!
