My tv says live in New York and they are ringing in the New year but it's midnight in Baton Rouge. I'm confused. Someone please explain.

The Central Time Zone invaded NYC and forced an unconditional surrender. They belong to us now.

Am I to understand that LIVE doesn't mean current? If I'm watching a live LSU game does that mean it may have already been played?

So every channel is too damn lazy to click on the button to hide the live logo?

Well I just don't understand. The live logo is probably in a separate layer. All they have to do is click the button to hide that layer. Just kinda strikes me as odd that no channel has ever hidden the live logo on new years re-broadcasts. They can't all be that sloppy so then it must be intentional. If it's intentional then what purpose does it serve? And yes I have done a lot of video production and it is really that simple to remove the logo.
