Everything nice that was there is gone or leaving. 10 years from now that "mall" will consist of 3 or 4 "urban fashion" stores and the Pakistani guy selling necklaces. That dump you call home is nothing but crime. Cottonport is tiny and there's not much going on, but we have nearly no crime and everyone pretty much gets along.

Not sure the hate on Alexandria. Less chance of getting shot or beat than other places in state. It's quiet because we like it that way. We still have most major restaurants, our coliseum just had a $21 million renovation.
It's not Shreveport, Baton Rouge or NO and we like it that way. This entire board loves to shite on smaller towns but everyday do the same on the larger cities in LA. Leave if you don't like it.
BTW Pineville isn't dry anymore. Restaurants sell alcohol now.

Alexandria is complete shite. At least there are nice parts of the other places. Nobody is talking down cause it's small it's cause it's shite and ghetto.
