I once took one of these speed tests while on my phone and got 43 WPM.

On a real keyboard? Probably up to 100 WPM thanks to having lots if practice over the years.
Trying to type on an iPhone drives me nuts because I am capable of doing it so much faster on the right equipment.

Anywhere between 85-95.
When I was younger I typed over 100. Had a good competition with an Asian friend of mine.

I'm average.
I just took some free online typing test. Worst I got was 40, best was 60.
I took typing in middle school and high school...back when you actually learned on electronic typewriters. Old school.

Back in college (around 2003) there was a website that would measure your WPM. I used to show people that I could type consistently at around 150 WPM.
Until one day a guy said, "That's great. You'll make a great secretary for me one day."
Didn't feel so cool after that.

Took typing at LSU, it was a great class 48 girls and 2 guys. I took French in high school instead of typing. They used defective typewriters without letters on them. I was lost. I went from 9 words a minute with 11 mistakes to 11 words a minute with 0 mistakes. I did not make an A.
