That's kind of the opposite. We test what we are told to believe. I think simply looking up at night is pretty damning evidence that we've been around for more than a number of years than the 4 digit range. If you have the tools, you can measure how fast light travels and do the same with stars. It's with our telescopes we can see for hundreds of millions of light years away, and even into the billions. That is something we can see happening right now.

That's a good question about light years. I know the bible says god created the heavens and the earth. Who knows how far the heavens reach and also how they really are.

The sad thing to think about is because Adam and eve sinned in the garden man had to die. If that had not happened then maybe we would be able to travel several light years in our life without dying.

Wasn't man the last of the creations until the 7th day Sabbath?

If a day is a thousand years, and a thousand years is a day, couldn't the dinosaurs have lived their entire existence before humans were birthed last?

That would explain the humility of condemning Satan to a life a humility "eating the dust on the ground", compared to his reptilian brothers who roamed for (millions?) of years on 2 or 4 legs...and that f-er has none legs. Zero. No backbone. Emasculated.

I remember hearing that the more true translation is "God recreated the Earth" meaning dinosaurs lived before that time. Just like they usually show Jesus crucified with spikes through his hands. But the more correct translation from back then the wrist was considered part of the hand. There's no way the spike wouldn't have torn through his hands supporting a man's weight. But when considering the wrist the spike could be between the two bones right below the wrist the radius and ulna.

You should read THE CASE FOR CHRIST then if you think outside the box. It offers insights on specificities like wrist instead of hands, crushing ulnar nerve, etc all in a very scientific way.

Also, carbon dated saved manuscripts, had non-believers and believers all go thru it like a crime scene looking at it unbiased. It really opened my eyes to thought processes a decade ago or so, especially being penned by an atheist
