What’s that have to do with your take on most of the butter “cooking away”?
When you start you have a dry roast with powder and a stick of butter on top. When it’s done it’s almost covered in juices. Now I suppose if you get a straw and drink those juices, instead of just eating the roast itself, you’d get a shite ton of fat.

That's what I wondering. Is it really prime? They're damn good either way.
It HAS to be prime. It's the best steak I have ever grilled.
Put salt on both sides with some olive oil.
Sear both sides, then place on the grill side that does not have the fire. Let is stay there until done.

I either get my steaks from Sam's or my local butcher. I buy the shite out of pork loins at Sam's. I got 2 huge loins yesterday at 15 per loin. Had sons birthday today and made pork chop sandwiches

This. I quit taking statins, cut back on bread, pasta, etc. Cholesterol levels are now normal. Triglyceride level was ridiculous, now normal also.

We only eat 100% A5 Grade Japanese Wagyu Kobe Beef on the OT.
Is Sam's club like a soup house?
My wife used to write for a restaurant trade journal and I was with her at a food show in Dallas where a rep mentioned in passing that in the previous year there was more Kobe served in DFW alone than actually produced in Japan. But I never researched it any further. This was '09 or so.

Agreed, Wal Mart injects their red meat with a die to make it look a lot fresher than it is. If you cut it in half before cooking it you can see the center is gray and not a very good meat.
