I fully intend to have the Playstation 11 or 12 or whatever is out in 45 years when I can retire. Playing golf 2-3 days a week and playing video games the rest when grandchildren aren't around

That's just to kill time. Fully intend to knock a few things off the bucket list if I can't do it before I retire

Most people I know that retired, soon thereafter, expired.

I'll never retire. Dad is in his 70's and never slowed down. I don't expect to either.

Will trade commodities from 6-9. Close out and go play golf and drink with a a few TD buddies.

Rinse and repeat daily.

ETA: And check off my bucket list of historical and religious sites all over the world.

Trav, between my time military contracting and stateside working in engineering management I have had enough. Done. I realized all the time I spent away from the family was time I could never get back.

That is a good point.

That's why I just want to move into the next phase, trying something I love, and making it work.

I can't imagine just letting time kill me.
I want to use it trying some stuff that I always thought about.

Good thought.

After dad sold his last few airplanes, I thought pushing the limits was over. Now it's which ultra light or experimental plane. That will prolly kill heem!! So my lesson is die in pursuit of something I want.

Kayaking the Mississippi is way near the top.

I know where you are coming from, Bush. I spent my share of time away as well. You are right, you can't get it back, but you can do what you can now to make up for it while you still can. And, I intend to do just that.

If that is your dream, you need to go for it.

Personally, I think I would enjoy doing The Tennessee, or Ohio more, just for the mountain scenery, but damn, you gonna find some hard corps( core?) great stories along The Mississippi.

That's the one J.R. Cash chose to write about.

You are absolutely right. I spent so much time behind a gun that I would have cross hairs burnt in. All the while wishing I was home.

Today me and my son spent hours at the lake on our land wasting turtles with the 22 mags. Best day ever.

No doubt I'm going to be the old angry krumudgeon yelling at any little whipper snapper I can find.

Is that the same restaurant, where you might have gotten told some stories and myths, back in the day? and now you want to be one of those old frickers?

Probably do woodworking on the side to keep my mind right.

And fish saltwater once or twice a week.

Haven't decided on LA/MS gulf Coast or south Florida.
