Pay in cash, not out your checking account. No way she notices 50k missing out the vault.

My dad pulled this off at Chrisrmas in 2002 when the new ‘03 4Runners came out at Christmas. But he was old school, my mom never touched the check book till he was diagnosed with cancer. He just bought the car and didn’t worry about trading anything in because he had 3 teens who could drive by then.

I was at the Barrett Jackson auction in Houston last year. After the cars would go on the auction block (whether it sold or not) they'd drive them to a section of the colusium and park them.

So we're back there looking at cars and they had a beautiful 1956 Ford Thunderbird just like this pull up.

Whill I was admiring the car, a couple in their 60's walk up and the wife is crying her eyes out. Mascara smeared and smiling but very emotional. He tells her to get into it to see if she likes it. I asked him if had bought the car car and he tells me that he bought it for her as a surprise for their 40th wedding anniversary. He fooled her into going to the auction with him, not knowing he was going to buy her a car. When the car came on the block, he started bidding on it and she thought he was crazy. He was high bidder and told her it was for her and said, "Happy anniversary baby, I love you."

I got his phone and took about 30 pics of them kissing and sitting in the car. It was a pretty cool moment.

Hope to be able to do that for my wife one day.

I've done it. It was quite possibly the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. I will never do it again

And in fact it was a Mercedes.

And it was shipped in from California

And we share a bank account

And it was for Christmas morning

I did. I invested some money on the sly. When I had enough for the car she always wanted, I ordered it. When it came time to pick it up, I said I had to run to the store. I pulled it in the garage and told her I had something to show her. I didn’t get the reaction I thought as she just stood there stunned. I asked her what was wrong and she said, “I wanted a new couch, but you said we didn’t have the money.”

Just drop a few Bitcoin on it. Even I wouldn’t notice the money is missing.
