One way to lift the floor of any society is to give women control over if/how many children they have. But with the new abortion laws in many states(and attacks on contraception in many cases, look up Florida and IUDs), we are going in the wrong direction regarding this.

So, keep doing what we were doing the entire time the major cities went to shite?

How about leaning towards freedom instead of full blown authoritarianism. Funny how all the conservative here are for a huge nanny state when it's not effecting their group.

I mean you’re a terrible poster, and a retard to boot, but why don’t you tell us your plan instead of shitting on others? That’s all you extremist do is frame the argument to where you provide no solutions.

Stop paying people to breed and it sorts itself out.

God is the only thing that can fix this, but our government has and will continue to try to remove him from this country.

For the person who thinks abortion is the answer. I hope God has mercy on you..

No secret or big news - it starts in the home. But if we don't get back to old school punishment for crime it'll continue to get worse.

We saw a solution when Katrina hit NOLA.

Inner city neighborhoods experienced a diaspora, and crime in NOLA went way down.

Of course, in areas where NOLA transplants congregated in large enough numbers (Houston), crime went way up.

So young inner city thugs need to be removed from that environment and separated from each other, along with the single mothers who’ve been cranking them out.

But it’ll never happen without a driving event like Katrina.

no shite dumbass, the spike has been the last 2 years and for many its going back down to the mean and not every city saw that. you act like its some uptick that is going to last decades when that only happens if the current leadership stays in charge.....newsflash people will get tired of that shite real fricking quick and will not give 2 fricks about the media and what they want.

Murders are down 2%. Everything else is worse.

quote:

In the first half of 2022, crime patterns partially reversed: in particular, homicides and gun assaults declined while property crimes rose. The number of homicides declined by 2% in the first half of 2022 compared to the first half of 2021 (a decrease of 54 homicides). While this reduction is heartening, the homicide rate is still 39% higher than it was during the first half of 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of gun assaults dropped by 6% in the first half of 2022, but this trend is based on data from just 12 cities and should be viewed with caution. Aggravated assaults (+4%) and robberies (+19%) increased in the first half of 2022 compared to the first half of 2021. Domestic violence incidents decreased by 5% between the first half of 2021 and the first half of 2022. This result is based on just 12 cities studied and should be viewed with caution. Residential burglaries (+6%), nonresidential burglaries (+8%), larcenies (+20%), and motor vehicle thefts (+15%) all increased in the first half of 2022 compared to the first six months of 2021.

As an example doesn't NBA youngboy have like 5,6,7 kids and he is what 25?

Somewhere there is a photo of him holding a child and an ar15.

Why get an education when you can be an aspiring rapper?

Subsidized housing does this. And all it accomplishes is destroying good neighborhoods.

Convict offenders and offer the choice of incarceration or enlisting for extended military service.

When enlistees finish they will have a viable trade and self discipline and respect.
