Change the contact name to something useful.
I've got "a-hole DNA" (do not answer/attempt) numbers 1-5 on my phone. Once you have a bunch you forget who's who and it gets easier.

I have gone through this recently with a woman I met over the summer. I was having a wonderful time with this woman, but the timing just wasn't right. I thought about her all of the time, but it was time to let her go; not text or email any further; and let her be. I figured if she could not deal with me contacting her, I would let her deal with no contact from me. While I cannot stop thinking of her, I will not ever initiate a contact again. It's been over 2 months and it get easier.
