One of my freshman years in BR, I was at Beau Chene apts when I saw two girls moving a couch out of an apt b/c "that mfer cheated on it".
Needless to say, we got a free patio couch..

I'm right there with you. Ordered a couch from Crate and Barrell in mid December and we've watched the delivery date slip half a dozen times. Now, it's expected mid March, but I'll believe it when I see it. Good news is we've gotten 2 separate 15% discounts due to the delays, but I just want my new couch.

Had to do this for a hotel my wife and I stayed at in Baton Rouge. The room they initially gave us had pet hair all over. The next room had no sheets. Called them multiple times and no one ever came bring sheets. Had to go upfront myself. Hot water smelled like rotten eggs. Called again and no one came to check on it. I'm sure they got tired of us calling.

Next morning, we check out bright and early. Asked for the manager, he said if "we would have asked, he could have put us in another room". Took all I had to not curse him out. I called every day asking for the general manager to call me back. Never did. Eventually went on the BBB website, posted a negative review and within 30 minutes I had a phone call from the GM telling me he's sorry and he will refund my money and comp another night in the future.

Bringing up Rooms To Go in my household is an easy recipe for a stroke.

Those idiots couldn’t get the furniture assembled right and kept breaking it IIRC.

I deal with this every day. It's amazing how Fedex and UPS will lose stuff. We have had a package stuck in Memphis for weeks now. Nobody knows nothing. I call, they apologize, I wait and call a few days later.

Either someone at the HUB took it home or the driver kept it and said it was never loaded on the truck.

Had a nice coffee table getting delivered and watched the FedEx driver pull up in front of our house, walk into the back of the truck, walk back to the front and drive off without ever getting out. I immediately received a notification that the table had been delivered. Called customer support and they "looked into it" but could only tell me the driver said he delivered it to the correct address. When I asked to talk to the driver they said he already went home for the day and there was nothing further they could do.

if the delivery route took it through nola, good chance it got 'lost".
