Same thing for getting drunk (even a little) every weekend. Getting (a little) drunk 10 or 12 times a year? That's probably the line

Is that too much?
Id imagine a handle a night is too much...
but I'm at half a pint-pint a night.
I should probably look into that

Watching you slam that hot arse vodka was nothing short of impressive.

You'd be good for one game of ping pong then it was lights out

That's 3/4 of a gallon of beer every day. You need help.

If I live in Alexandria, I would be either a heavy drinker or smoker and probably both. I would more than likely sprinkle in a healthy dose of opioids occasionally as well.

Real talk...are you fat? I can't imagine drinking 900 calories of beer a night on top of eating. I feel like drinking that much has to leave you fat or malnourished

The real question is why do you drink tall boys? Aren't tall boys only sold in singles or 4 packs? Do you drink 1.5 4 packs, or have I just not seen the 6 packs yet? You ought to save yourself some money and just buy a 24 pack for 3 days.

I bet you'd save like $200/ a year buying 24 packs instead of tall boys.

A standard shot has 1.25 oz of liquor which most are only 40% alcohol. So that means each shot has 0.5 oz of pure alcohol in it.

Actually a standard shot is 1.5oz. Close enough though.

It certainly is not super healthy, but the Europeans have been drinking beer and wine like this for over 1000 years and they do alright. America makes "alcohol" the devil compared to some countries, and it can be don't get me wrong. If the OP all of the sudden goes from 8 beers a night to 15 beers regularly, that is a serious issue.

But half of italy drinks a couple glasses of wine most nights and most of Germany, Russia, Belgium, Ireland, etc. drink multiple beers most nights. Again, it may not be healthy but I don't think they are dropping dead at 65 because of it either.

Then again, 8 beers a night every single night is quite a few. I don't think there is anything wrong with averaging 2 beers a night though.

I bought 24 tall boys of Miller Lite (in a box) in Destin a couple months ago for $22 before tax

Never seen them again. I should have bought every one of them

I see them in 6 packs all the time

16oz that is (not sure if tall boy = 24oz here or not)

True to an extent. They drink steady and regular - French and Italians drink wine, Germans, Scandinavians and other Central/Eastern Europeans drink beer and ale, or some local spirits.

But, America is whiskey country. America dominated the consumption of spirits until Prohibition - I mean the statistics are shocking (well, shocking to me) - and we're on an upswing now, as well.

At the end of the day, heavy drinking is heavy drinking, but I associated negative effects most greatly with spirits, then beer, then wine. The big problem with American drinking is that getting drunk is the goal, not the side effect. In Europe they're stuff is fancier because they actually are drinking for taste. They want it to taste good.

Americans want it to not taste bad while getting them shitty as quickly as possible (thus the greater emphasis on spirits over brewed or fermented).

ETA: And America has nothing on Russia, baw. They drink vodka and they drink it to get drunk. Something they have in common with us.

How do you function work after drinking the equivalent of 8 beers a day? Natty is weak, but that would still make me feel like total shite the next day.
if you are on the small side, your tolerance might be low...i can sit around the pool all day drinking beer (not pounding them) and not get shitfaced.some females are trashed after 3 beers

I give myself a B+. I still enjoy food too much. It's my drug - along with caffeine. But, for someone approaching mid-century, I'm a 1%er, exercise wise, never drank, never smoked, never did drugs. I try to get my vegetables. If I could get 7 or 8 hours of sleep every night, I would give myself an A -.
