My mother was the VP of Marketing for YKK for many years. I used to tease her that if YKK wanted to triple sales, they should invent the magnifying zipper. Her response was that false advertising was a bad business practice!

Yeah, US military has used YKK for govt owned drawing products which means they have to have some domestic manufacturing capability...unless the foreign mfr is some source, which it's not.
