This sounds like me. I am 73 and I have been taking sleep aids since 1995. Right now I take 150mg of Trazadone, three hundred mg of Gabapentin and three Tylenol to help me sleep. It works sometimes, but most times it does not. Weed is not legal in Arkansas, but I live 10 minutes away from weed stores in Missouri. Maybe I need to check them out.
What are some good brands to get? I may try something once I am released from my Doctor after have knee replacement surgery. The three Tylenols are for this. Also will this affect my kidneys?

Started taking them earlier this year. They work great for me. I use the Cornbread CBD gummies or their THC gummies. Both make me sleep better.

It will be far easier on your kidneys than acetaminophen.
I take a very small part of a gummy nightly and I am ready to pass out at 9p but popping out of bed refreshed by 5a.

Delta8/9 are amazing for sleep. More people should be exposed to them imo as healthy alternatives to drinking in order to sleep.
I don't take them all time but occasionally, and I'm out cold. I actually attribute taking them over a period of a few weeks with cutting out alcohol completely. I think you're doing something like low dosing a psychoactive component (similar to shrooms), and your brain builds new neuron connections. I lost all desire to drink after I stopped taking them (going on 3 years now). YMMV

You don't need to go into a dispensary, most cbd and vape shops will be carrying the Delta THC variant gummies.

If you take Tylenol daily a liver function test schedule may be useful. My doc cut me off Tylenol last month

Lots of folks that I know have tried it however, I think when they are finally honest with themselves, they quit using it because they don’t find it effective.
Ii do know a few folks that have scripts and eat part of a thc gummie every night. That seems to be much more effective.

All of the recommendation in this thread are illegal in Arkansas. There are full dispensaries in Jane, MO which is about 10 minutes from me. I will check into them later this week.
Edit: One of these carry the Gooday Farms gummies.
