Oh there's a surprise. Several hours later, and no response about what the root issue is.
It's almost like people like you are virtue signaling pieces of shite.

Parents and Doctors.
Parents....raise kids right, with morals and ethics. Monitor their video games, and music. Don't allow violent video games ! Don't allow hard core violent music ! Both of those things work on the unconscious and alter one's psyche.
Doctors....do your jobs and quit relying on drugs/pills as a solution to everything, especially where kids are involved !
If a kid has a mental issue, refer them to counselors, psychiatrists, or psychologists BEFORE you take the easy way out and just dope them up !

Literally no evidence video games or music make people violent take that boomer mentality out of here

We can't. We've chosen to live like barbarians, so we may as well either get used to these barbaric acts, or leave.

Stifling a kid's likes and dislikes while making him wear pastel polo shirts doesn't usually have great outcomes either.

armed teachers isn’t it
Why not? Have you ever been a teacher? Back in the day, I would have given anything to be able to have a gun in my classroom (in a safe, of course). Do you realize how crazy it is to run lock-down drills all of the freaking time and know that you're truly a sitting duck? That your lives are in the hands of one security guard at the front? Oh yes, let me lock the flimsy door lock and pull down the window shade while we all hide. Screw that.
It's interesting that when a school shooting happens, the first thing we do is to...wait for it...call people with guns. Our president and members of Congress enjoy walking through their days with the protection of armed guards/SS. But our schools are soft, easy targets. You can't even get into the ER at OLOL without going through armed guards.
I'm sure many teachers would love the opportunity (not a mandate) to protect themselves and the children in their care. I was taught to respect and safely use guns at a very early age, because my dad was a man. He understood the importance of 2A and respected the implications.

Do the Democrats suddenly have 60 Senators? Because that is what it would take to pass any gun-control legislation.

I don't fricking care what was discussed. I want him to tell me what the root issue is.
And of course, I never got a response from him aside from some random statistic about education levels that has zero to do with the subject at hand. Because he's just a virtue signaling piece of shite.

The proof is in the pudding ! How many school shootings took place back in the 80's-90's, and before then ? Fast forward to later times when the violent video games, and music, came along.....coupled with latchkey kids. Then ADD/ADHD became a "thing" and parents took the easy road and allowed "Doctors" to freely medicate the kids as a "remedy". It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the correlation here.

I am sure you can explain why Europe who has the exact same video games and music does not have this issue.

To what extent are their kids medicated ? Plus, societal issues play a large roll in it. You can discount what I believe all you want, as we're all free to have our own thought process (at least for now), but as I said.....the proof is easy to recognize if you are willing to look at the issues I described, and the time frame in which things evolved.

The only country consistently having children slaughtered at school.
The country with more people incarcerated than any other.
Is this what American Exceptionalism is?

And one that had very few mass shootings until recently.
Keep blaming the tool though.

See above.

As I said, some people chose to live like barbarians.
Then again, some people also chose to make excuses instead of asking hard questions.

Maybe America isn't for you ? There are planes/ships leaving every day that have one-way tickets available. Those other places sound like a Utopia.....perhaps lots of folks would be happy purchasing those one-way tickets !

Recently meaning what man? The last 10 years? What kind of shite vague retort is that? It's been unacceptable for the past 10 years. What has our government done in that time to help prevent this from happening?

I'm not blaming anything, just stating facts.
We have more guns than anyone else, we have more mass murders than anyone else, and we have more people incarcerated than anyone else.
Other places don't put up with it, we do.

Yes, Americans. That's my point, we choose it. We could also choose to leave, as I already stated.
One thing we absolutely refuse to do is find a way not to live like barbarians. - besides, of course, leaving as I previously mentioned.

Perhaps, but I just don't see Americans leaving. I don't see them addressing the mass murder problem either.
That leads me to conclude that Americans are, by and large, okay with all the mass murders.
