Guy I worked with used to comment that it was amazing how many of the chosen 144,000 lived in Montegut.

damn, I didn't know about the early parts of mormonism. So their God is a little rapey.

Simple. You need to stay in the top 50% so you don't get bumped out of the bottom when you have a bad day. If you slump into the last quartile of your class, the ice under you gets really thin.

I wonder if Prince made the cut. He was definitely dedicated, apparently he showed up at a Jewish couple's doorstep on Yom Kippur to give them a newsletter

I used to love watching the Jesus Quest cartoons on Saturday morning. I didn't see his little dog in that clip though.

And here's another thing about JW. If I'm a member and know only 144,000 folks get to heaven, I'm not trying to hard to recruit new converts...

I'm sure I'm wrong, but I always assumed that currently NONE of the deceased JW are in heaven. They are in some type of purgatory. And then once the world ends, the 144,000 will then be chosen. It's the only thing that made sense to me. Otherwise your point above is correct.

I think all JW go to heaven, but only 144,000 "anointed" members get to see God and Jesus and rule with them.

ETA: Nevermind, seems only the 144,000 go to heaven, the rest of the saved JWs stay on a new paradise earth or whatever.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are out there with Mormons for the weirdo crap they believe and interpret. They have a book called the Watchtower that’s pretty far out there.

Since only a finite number of souls get into your heaven why do you recruit?

Can abortionists get in? If so that's pretty fricked up.

The cartoon is not accurate. Go to the source if you want the truth.
