False charges against the victim were dropped.

Not a HPD officer. It was a Metro PD which is a transit cop or one level above a security guard.

I watched all the way through. At what point did the cops act inappropriate? Dude stands up after being detained in a "lethal" manor. Beat his arse. Dude deserved it.

Seriously. If I was a police officer these days, I would ask the guy nicely to leave once. If he didn't, I would just go about my business and tell my supervisors "he didn't want to cooperate. Nothing I could do."
