We're trying to build as many multi families as possible to fix the problem. That way the blacks will be on the outskirts while we gentrify downtown with 3 story houses with no backyard, 6 of them on one lot.

My car got smashed and grabbed at Panera Bread on Westheimer by Loop 8 a few years ago. Took a laptop. So yeah.

Houston has always been ghetto. It's the crime that's picking up at a scary rate.

Buffalo Speedway/Greenway. Extremely dangerous part of town. I would never walk down there alone.

This is sarcasm. It’s probably the safest part of the inner loop not in River Oaks or WU, because it’s less than a mile stretch between the two filled with luxury apartments and nice office buildings.

Westheimer itself is a perfect example of how a city grows way too fast for infrastructure to keep up though. It’s a terrible road and the fact that it’s probably the most narrow road I’ve ever seen doesn’t help. Then to make it worse, people stop and park in the middle of the right lane of traffic. I love that area of town though. From midtown over to greenway is just a cool area.

BIL just had his brand new $80,000 GMC truck stolen in Houston while visiting his ailing brother. Stayed in a very nice hotel in a great part of town and went to report it to hotel staff only to learn that another couple in the lobby also had their new truck stolen. Houston quickly becoming the Chicago of the south!

It’s all fun and games until you end up at the Velvet Melvin and get wasted Wednesday.

I was so confused, lol. The picture Obtuse posted of the double parked car is literally in front of the Greenway Plaza office buildings.

It’s looked like that for the past 10 years

ETA Upon further google research it does appear to be closed. Big sad.

Naw but carry on.

Houston being villianized by LA residents is quite humorous.
