That aint bad at all. Any recs on a nice dinner to take a chick to that won't break the bank? Less than $100 total for both of us. And should I make reservations in advance?

Domenica, and yes I'd make reservations.

ETA: Peche is also a good choice.

Demonica looks fantastic. Will definitely be going there. But I'm looking for something that is old school NO and is a must go to place

Peche is the consensus?

Cab back. It'll just be $5-$7.

The walk is beyond perfectly fine in that area. The Warehouse District/South Market/Downtown will be heavily traveled and is mostly younger business people anyway. You'll be fine.

Peche is not "old school new orleans" by any stretch but it is great. Domenica, Cochon, Borgne are all good and within walking distance...relatively speaking.

That's in the French Quarter, which he apparently won't be in.

Even then, you'll be fine.

They are both great but different.

Cochon Butcher is a sandwich shop. A very awesome one, but its a sandwich shop.

Cochon is basically upscale new school cajun.

Could also recommend Root if you want to get into some molecular gastronomy.

Yes. I used both this week.

Uber was far superior but walking out of Razoo, a cab was pulling up to the corner so it was easy. But it was disgusting compared to the uber ride.
