Bet the horse that craps during the post parade. It's lighter.

Hello Mrs Aspy I didn't know that but I remember when I first met Lathoro on here that you guys knew each other pretty well. I remember him making trips to Kentucky and west Virginia.

To op:

Bet jazz lady in the filly part of the futurity. I think that is the mizzen mast husband had up at Churchill. He told me she was fast when she first came in.

Yep. If a trainer is unliked but has the best horse, it's easy for a pissed off jockey/ies to duck him over.

So many factors that have nothing to do with what horse should win

Also depends on which horses they bet....

I've been saying for years how crooked that track is. Was nice to be vindicated last year.

$18 three horse exacta wheel

Pick the favorite then add two with decent odds like 5 to 1.

Makes it fun Baw

Bet on the horses that will win the race.

Don't bet on the horses that will lose.

You're welcome.

Always this.

Well, jockeys place bets thru friends ALL day.

Everyone thinks trainers are crooked, but they aren't that bad. They want to win and if they cheat it's to try and win.

Very very seldom would they do something NOT to win.

That's what I'm saying.

I've never seen a place crooked place than evd.

And there are plenty of crooked trainers...

Trainers have good reasons to not win sometimes. Get a better price next out when they know they will win. Look at masochistic before he broke his maiden derby day a few years ago.

Taking out the jockey factor was a reason I enjoy greyhound racing in Pensacola.

That's because in most cases, they do.

Yep.

Back in the day of the old Evangeline Downs I was told when my horses would win by the hot walkers. Amazing how racing out of conditions being bet down from one race at 35:1 to 3:1. I had more fun racing at the Quarter Pole bush track in Rayne. Good times there.

It is rather strange that a man like me can lose 2-way shakes repeatedly to Karl. It'a almost like someone is leaking information.

Although I don't do it often, there never seems to be another trainer looking to claim the horses I am interested in. Always a 2-way...gainst the same guy

Because he claims everything. Then somehow moves everything up

He took one of my favorites a few years ago from the hubby's barn. Clean legs, no issues...

Got him back a year later with all kinds of issues

I'm hopeful that he won't claim mine that I bred. I know the assistant he has at that track and he's actually a good guy. Plus, mine is a little lacking in the talent department
