So another free vacation for the bitch for doing absolutely nothing, while the taxpayers pay for it. Again.

Sweet.

Doesn't New Orleans have this issue with re-electing mayor's to a 2nd term, no matter what happens?

You think the voters in New Orleans are informed enough to vote her out? The same voters that just voted for a guy under federal indictment as district attorney?

That's the problem. People worth a shite only get the support if they make compromising promises to the different groups who sway voting. Once they start making promises for kickbacks and funds then that "worth a shite" candidate rides the mudslide down to the bottom of the hill and isn't any better than the previous mayor who held office. Those camps that wield power want a dull mayor so they can control them and keep the stream of easy money.

again...it's not about who they voted for....it's about who they are running against.

Williams got in by default....just like Latoya did.

Put a legitimate candidate against either one of those two shitbags and they would lose

Who is a legitimate candidate? And why would the Democratic money back anyone else? Most of your city’s voters are bussed in or now sent ballots to mail in.

Would love to have someone ask what is being covered in the BVI that she can't get over Zoom.

Straight up, I think she's lying about what she's doing there. Does it make sense that the Aspen Institute would be holding a conference that invites international travel? Maybe. But it seems much more likely this is unaffiliated and she's bilking the public for a vacation and skirting her own ridiculous covid restrictions.

ETA: I'm not a NOLA resident so I don't have a vested interest in this but I'm half considering trying to run this down through the Aspen Institute contacts. Try to get them to confirm or deny by placing pressure on them to respond to inviting global travel during a pandemic.

I wonder if a member of the intrepid media will ask JBE a question about this today?

S&WB

I did a project to bring Turbine4 back online after it caught fire the first time years ago.

It was my first time dealing with the City Government and the S&WB.

Before that project I loved the city, after, I realized it was doomed.

You don't have to bully someone who does your bidding willingly and isn't able to have an informed opinion to question it.

You have way more faith in New Orleans’ voters than I do. I don’t see any chance LaToya loses.

BS, they all know this yet still defend her. She's just trying to save lives! I think you underestimate the woke women here.

She took some pretty big loses in the last election..if this is any indicator how voters feel about her

-3 of her tax proposals were voted down
-The candidate she endorsed for district attorney lost by double digits

Don’t like 80% of the people in that city hate her and the way she has handled all this COVID crap??????

The problem is that everyone who hates her lives in Jefferson Parish. Her voting base is liberal transplants and ignorant people that vote based on who their church leaders say to do so.
