That's the problem. People worth a shite only get the support if they make compromising promises to the different groups who sway voting. Straight up, I think she's lying about what she's doing there. Does it make sense that the Aspen Institute would be holding a conference that invites international travel? Maybe. But it seems much more likely this is unaffiliated and she's bilking the public for a vacation and skirting her own ridiculous covid restrictions.


ETA: I'm not a NOLA resident so I don't have a vested interest in this but I'm half considering trying to run this down through the Aspen Institute contacts. Try to get them to confirm or deny by placing pressure on them to respond to inviting global travel during a pandemic.
