The servers are hired as 'characters' I believe. That is how they can get around it.

I doubt the twin peaks in Lafayette lasts much longer. Parking lot stays empty

When's the last time you been to a Hooters?

No one wants to admit this, Louisiana isn't that deep on the bench with women. Go to major markets and you'll be impressed at any T&A type place.

I will readily admit my ignorance when it comes to this type of scene in Louisiana. Only one I've been to is a Hooters in Shreveport (nuff said right there
).
But yeah comparing the franchises in the same market, I prefer the food and scenery at Twin Peaks better. Just don't get to go very often.
Hell, even my wife likes Twin Peaks. Bully for me

I wouldn't say that. When I started lsu in 2000, hooter had a ton of talent.
Now they're competing with walk ons, Sullivan's, lauberge and other service industry places that hire hot arse.
Why work at a hooters when you can work at these other places, not look like a complete skank, and make more money?
Hooters in BR has also gotten pretty ghetto over the years.

I started cooking at College Dr in 2002. The talent was unreal. You are correct about the options for women hence why I said the bench isn't that deep. Other new, flashy options are available. I do hope they move College Dr. by campus in the near future.

I remember that was a lawsuit years ago over their practices. Hooters fought back with a big pr campaign
I believe it involved putting a big hairy guy in a Hooters uniform.

We went twice a week for happy hour during that time. Barbie was our main waitress. She was great. The older veteran waitress that had been there for awhile would wait on us when barbie wasn't there. We would get so drunk she would offer to drive us home when happy hour was over. She was like the house mother

I remember Barbie. I can't say I got along too well with her. I just chose to not cross paths with her
