If movies only hire people who look the part, how do they avoid all the bs discrimination lawsuits?
They just do. Who cares.

Which bs discrimination lawsuits are you talking about?
Just thinking some bs groups would send men or women who do not fit the profile in to apply and then try to make a fuss

They have done this multiple times.

A lot of these breastaurants do not hire waitresses, they hire models. If they don't fit the profile they don't get hired.

In the 90's they ruled on BFOQ- Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications. In the case of Hooters, they ruled that people come in to see the Hooters Girls. To give context, airlines cannot hire this way. You do not fly on a plane to see hot flight attendants. You fly to travel.

Hiring people based on attractiveness is not a form of discrimination. You're prohibited from discriminating based on race, gender, religion, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
"Attractiveness" is not a protected class. Now, the argument can (and has been made) that Hooters discriminates against men by not hiring them based on gender.
There are some worthless POS's who have brought such claims to court, and frankly, they would likely win. However, what pathetic guy wants to be a waitress at Hooters? I'm sure Hooter's finds it more cost effective to just settle these claims vs. hire men to work as waitresses, thus crashing their business.

They have "staff positions" now. They can bartend, bar back, bus tables, host, or cook

Twin Peaks is better
Both Twin Peaks in NOLA closed already....one in Metairie was only there about 2 years maybe, and don't even think the Gretna one was open for a year before they closed.

In my experience, Twin Peaks chicks>>>>hooters gals

All the ones associated with Brechtel Hospitality closed (Houma, Metairie, Gretna). They are now franchising with Walk On's. The TP in BR is a different franchise and doing well from what I am told. Laffy may be a struggle due to economy.

Twin Peaks has garbage for food, so bad that the scenery doesn't begin to make up for it

For a tits and arse restaurant, I think their food is good.
Good wings, burgers, sandwiches, nachos.

The ridiculous money spent on building out those huge box restaurants has got to be the kiss of death. Can't sell enough of that slop food to cover your overhead
