I know what he studied.
He was in SV IN 1984. That was a completely different world than today. It was more akin to what was shown on Halt and Catch Fire.
Mine Judge is a brilliant satirist. He doesn’t need to live in the place he is satirizing.

Only in select cases. I mean, I know Conan O Brien and i would disagree on a lot political topics, but I love his show. And that's even with Andy Richter being as obnoxious on twitter as Kumail Nanjiani.
Part of the equation is that I would have to pay more to watch it, and the degree to which the actors on that show irritate me makes me not want to spend the extra money.
But generally, it doesn't affect my enjoyment.
