Hook up outdoor tv without cable box

Ok. I am OT poor and can't afford to buy a satellite and have the programming sent directly to my back patio. Or whatever a OT baller would have done.
I want to put a tv outside on my patio (I'm finally replacing a really sweet console tv that I found on the side of the road off Gardere) and be able to watch all the shows outside that I can watch inside on my tv with a cox box. I have a cable out there already so I know I can get the basic channels this way. How can I get the all the other channels that are both hi def and outside of the normal range (say, the NFL network) without putting a box outside?
I plan to buy a modern LCD tv and since I'm poor, I live in Baton Rouge and have Cox cable. I'm going to do all of this once the price of aluminum goes up so I won't have to collect as many beer cans to pay for it.
Tell me OT Ballers - how can a poor boy from the inner city do this? Thanks in advance. I'm almost out of data on my free government cellphone and can't type anymore.

Att u-verse. You get a WiFi box for your TV and all u need is power after that. You can move tv anywhere u want.

HD HomeRun Prime and a TV that supports wireless and DLNA would do it. You would have to rent a CableCard, which with the "Advanced TV" fee, would be $4/mo. The Primes were just on sale at woot for a ridiculous $80 or something. The Prime would also be the gateway into Windows Media Center and possibly dumping a Cox DVR.
