Honest Termite companies in/around Baton Rouge areas

Think we may have termites but have been with Terminex for years. Have had my doubts about them for a little while because have heard several stories recently about people getting termites while they are under contract with Terminex. Also, my neighbors have Terminex and I watched (one day from my window), the Terminex guy pull up in his truck and sit in their driveway for about 30 minutes and then go drop off a sheet at the door and leave. They must use GPS to show that they go to the houses. He never did get out of the truck and do an inspection of the property. Also, came home one day at lunch and the same guy was sitting in my driveway in his truck and it wasn't until I pulled up beside him and he noticed me, that he got out and went and walked the premises.
Have heard that when you bring anything to their attention they fight it and say you "didn't have enough clearance under the house, shrubbery too close to house, etc.". Basically, they find a way to say it wasn't their fault. I'm wanting to choose another company to come and give a termite inspection before I contact them to show them what I've found. I've heard a lot of them are shady, but there's got to be an honest company around locally. Suggestions...

BeBe’s was the best price and service we found. We have never had a problem with them. I pull up our cameras every time they leave a sheet on our door and work gets done every time.

I’ve been with Arrow Pest Control for a number of years and am very pleased. Their office staff is always pleasant to deal with and the folks they send out are professional and courteous.

Gremillion Pest control have taken care of my property for years, small father and son type operation. Their inspections are really inspections, and they periodically re-treat the soil instead of just saying all is well, and only re treating if they see activity.

I use Baton Rouge pest control. Whole family of people with whatever the degree is from LSU on insects. I trust them. Generally good people

That is Rick Story who is a retired PHD professor of Entomology at LSU and he is who I , my siblings, parents and all the friends I can turn on to use and have for 20 years. I wouldn’t use anyone else. His daughter is with him as well. He does all the termite inspections himself and was at my house last month. Quiet and shy but man he’s a smart guy. Ran Cross Country for University of New Hampshire.

I’m under contract with them not by choice. Their re-treats every 6 months for $150 each time is ridiculous. I did termite work years ago and once a year re-treats Is the norm. Thinking of buying chemical and just doing it myself. The coverage any of them offer is sketchy anyway.

If you don't call Baton Rouge Pest Control, you are making a mistake. Dr. Story is an entomologist and professor at LSU and he owns it. Does all the inspections himself. Also treats my home himself. Plus is prices are cheaper than anyone else around town.
Or you can get go with a company like Arrow who hires techs with an hour training and a GED (if you're lucky) tell you how to treat your insect problem. For more money.
