I too, must make this repair. Just noticed a small drip the other day.

Back when I was trucking, I would make note of what make and model vehicle was broken down along the side of the interstate. The dodge rams led the pack by far. I won't ever own one.

The only issue I had

I’ve owned 2 with the regular suspension and have driven many others with the air ride.
The steel suspension Rams ride so well that you really don’t need the air ride unless you think you’ll want or need the ride height adjustability for off-roading.

They say the 4 corner air suspension makes it ride like a luxury car, but I'm hesitant to jump on a twin turbo engine without seeing the long term durability.
Ram has the best ride. The GMC with the magnetorheological shocks (Denali only, I think) also rides very well, but I think the Ram is just smoother.
The Ram's turbo engine is a question mark. They seemed to try to model it after the excellent B58 BMW I-6, which also had some teething issues when new.
The Ram transmission is very good - they outsourced all that to ZF, which is a great decision.
The 2026 models will bring the 5.7L V8 back, which will make Ram a very good option IMO.

Got a 2013 with 190k+ miles. Still rolling. In '22 I did have to put $5k into the engine. Also, replaced the AC this year. Other than that nothing else.

Had a 19 Limited with the hemi and loved it, only minor issues. Traded it in on a 22 Limited with the eco diesel and also love it. Mileage is great and the 3rd gen ecodiesel is much more reliable than the previous gens

I don't know if it's still true now but over the last 20-25 years, a buyer could get into a Ram for considerably less money than a comparable Ford or GM truck. But that same buyer could expect a similar decrease in the resale value of a Ram a few years down the road compared to the Ford or GM.
