The Los Angeles Police Department announced Tuesday that homicides in the city increased 250% over the previous week, and the number of people who were shot increased by 56% during the same period.

The increased numbers were recorded during the week of May 31-June 6, but officials also reported continued violence this week.

"The past 24 hours has seen four shootings, one of those resulting in a homicide," an LAPD statement said.

Not too bad for week 1 of community policing. Now let's see the defunding numbers! C'mon L.A. we know you pump those rookie numbers up!

Stats like that are meaningless without knowing how many there were. I couldn’t see the raw data in that link though.

This shite going on is why it ultimately falls on the individual citizen to protect their lives and homes. This is why we have the 2A. If you have the means to protect yourself, you should take advantage. FTR, I don’t approve of vigilantes. I’m just saying you can only really count on yourself.
