Homicides this week have increased 250% in L.A. compared to last week, LAPD says

The increased numbers were recorded during the week of May 31-June 6, but officials also reported continued violence this week.
"The past 24 hours has seen four shootings, one of those resulting in a homicide," an LAPD statement said.

This shite going on is why it ultimately falls on the individual citizen to protect their lives and homes. This is why we have the 2A. If you have the means to protect yourself, you should take advantage. FTR, I don’t approve of vigilantes. I’m just saying you can only really count on yourself.
