If I'm getting groceries or something at Walmart, I'll swing by the card section to see if they have anything cool to pick up a box. Otherwise, it's singles only

Because it’s on topic. I’ve got a collection of awesome cards my dad drew goatees on and or did a fake signature as a kid.

One which is a 1960 topps Unitas with the goatee and fake signature. I’ve sold off most of the valuable cards in the last decade but it’s always funny to look at these rare cards he ruined as an elementary school kid.

I used to collect Auburn autos and game used cards. I got out around 2010 and I think my step dad sold my collection for cheap. I had several autos /5 or less and at least 50 numbered from /100 or less including some 1/1s. Card collecting was one of my favorite hobbies so I want to get back in but the prices are so high and every time I consider it I just get mad thinking about my collection being gone

The only thing is basketball I collected was Kobe rookies. The only ones I recall not having was the topps chrome refractor and the finest refractor. Oh how I’d love to find where my collection is

Are you sticking with PSA for grading? It is so all over the place with people spending money to crack a slab and get something re-graded

I don't have a preference for grading between PSA, BGS and CGC/CSG. I did go with CGC/CSG for a lot of my cards since they were so fast and cheap during the peak COVID 2020-22 time period. I think I'd stick with PSA from here on out since they are pretty damn cheap now for bulk, but I think their bulk subs are still ~3 months turnaround compared to the month or so from CGC/CSG

At $15 a card I need to get some together. I've got a few that are borderline but why not. Sounds like it is time to move my Zach Wilson auto lol

Recent pick up. Ali auto with a pretty rare inscription and actually drew a boxing ring.

Decided to have a little fun with photoshop last night

They gave a pack of these cards out at one of the games back in 2019/20 season before COVID (I think it was January of 2020)

Picked this up Saturday in Vegas.

1977 Topps Star Wars C-3PO “Goldenrod” error card. Anthony Daniels won’t sign them. He’s actually tore them up when people have tried getting him to sign them. My wife was like “that’s really the only thing you’re buying?” Going to PSA asap.

I've thought about getting that one as well. Didn't realize he won't sign them. Hayden Christensen might be at Fant Expo in January and I am thinking hard on what I would want him to sign

Check out subscription boxes like boombox or penn. The person can get a variety of cards.

I would be disappointed if it didn't get a 7 and hope for an 8. Centering is good, edges are good, there is a little whiting on two corners on the back but not at all. Haven't looked the surface over yet. better than most all the raw ones that have come up on eBay lately. I was going to buy a 5 or 6 on eBay but i figured I'd take a shot at this one.

I like to collect a variety of stuff. Outside of my sports PC I collect Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings autos and sketches. Some Star Wars and Marvel, but not much since the market is starting to get flooded a bit. Started colecting a little Formula 1.

Didn't know it was going on, but I doubt I make it over there. Looks like the next BR show isn't until March

It's not a big one but I'm hoping I cam trade up some of my cards for a few decent vintage ones. I'm also on the verge of getting a kobe chrome, Jordan fleer, and lebron SP/x rc to throw in a safe and forget about
