Posters here are always talking down homeowner's associations....well, this is why you want to have one in your neighborhood.

Good for them. Cruz is such a creep. Too bad there’s not a good republican to run against him.

I think it's funny so many are calling Beto "beta" when he's running against the ultimate beta in Cruz.
Trump openly mocked him and his family in a very personal manner and now he drops to his knees and opens his mouth for Trump any chance he gets.

This is an example of when an HOA is a good thing to have.

If it was a political candidate would you say the same?

I can't tell if that's paint or creative gardening. If he planted strategically, and that's a dark plant material, like Jasmine, and those are white pansies, then, in that case, unless the HOA has a rule stipulating they have to approve all landscaping, he can tell the HOA to frick off.

I planted purple pansies with yellow pansies one year to make an LSU logo in the front yard. I live on a hill so everyone could see it. None of my neighbors complained. They all fly their college school and NFL flags on their yards so it was just part of the banter and dick waving.

Even the most libertarian ppl believe in voluntary covenant communities.

Because Libertarian people understand a lot of people are lazy and won't keep their yard up if there isn't a little pressure on them. And they want this because they want to keep property value up.

I get some HOA's are ridiculous, but to not understand the need for them is obtuse.

I hope it kills his grass and he is fined for a shitty lawn.

Oh, and Beto has no shot of winning.

Most polls have Cruz with a 5-7% win. This isn’t a landslide at all. And remember “Trump has no shot of winning.”

Complacency is a disease. Attitudes like that is how we lose the senate.

again, Beto has no chance to win.
I’d put a paycheck on it not being within that 5-7%

I hope people don’t think like you do and decide they don’t need to go vote since it’s a lock.

The big cities and border cities will turn out big. I see Beto signs all over Dallas and I’m sure houston and definitely Austin are the same.

Ignoring the blue wave is stupid. They’re mad as hell and tired of losing. They will be out to vote.

I didn’t say I wasn’t going to go vote, I’ve already scheduled a half day to exercise my birth right. And located my voter card. And I’m sure there are a lot a excited Democrats ready in big cities, but Texas is a still a red state. That isn’t changing any time soon.

blue wave?
It’s going to fizzle and fizzle hard. It’ll be a rough rough day for Democrats

I didn’t say you weren’t voting. Just said I hope people don’t skip out because they think like you do.

I mean I hope you’re right. But you don’t see that your point of view is exactly like the dems going into the 2016 election?

Trump won Texas by a smaller margin than Romney did and Obama was a way better candidate than Clinton.

Correct, 2016 was tight in Texas. Closer than it should have been.

But since then, Democrats have leaned in. And I don’t know if it’s because they’ve run out of ideas, gotten lazy, or been given bad information. But openly supporting open borders, removing the 2nd amendment, socialized healthcare, etc. Not to mention some actually supporting socialism, Antifa, MS13, illegals, social media silencing conservatives, and most recently Kavanaugh having his name ruined because of lies and slander. Ewww, not a good look.

Conservatives and Republicans won’t stand for that bullshite. And that doesn’t sit well with those sitting on the fence. Enough is enough and we are going to see November 16th. Blue ripple, maybe.

In all likelihood, Dems will be lucky to keep what seats they have in the House and Senate.
