Same reason Rafael goes by Ted. It’s a nickname. Beto is short for Robert in Spanish. Both trying to appeal to their demos. Dude is from El Paso.

A 1/2 Cuban who grew up in the states using an anglicized nickname is a little different than an Irish american using a Hispanic nickname. Surely you can see the difference.

I like Rubio... But as for as this thread, who that person decides to support shouldn't be the issue.
If it doesn't violate any rules or other people, who who violates the rules by doing something similar (in other words, if he is being targeted because of who he supports) has not been asked or forced to remove whatever they have then he should tell them to frick off and like I mentioned, ask them if they are willing to fight it in court.

Except it's more evidence that Beto supporters are a bunch of losers.
Every Beto supporter I know on Facebook has claimed their sign was stolen or destroyed. One got into it with one of his neighbors who kept saying he saw the Beto guy bring it inside the night before.
