My son is scheduled to go on a school trip to Washington DC next month. I am still unsure, if I should allow him to go on this trip, to our nations capital. There is just so much going on in our country right now and Im afraid for my child's safety. Would you allow your child to go on this week long school trip? Thanks for taking the time to read this , I do appreciate it !

Don't let him go. He'll totally thank you. He won't catch any shite from his friends either.

ETA: my response was because I thought you were joking. You can't be serious.

I had a great time on mine in 79'.Drinking Draft everyday across the bridge in Georgetown.

Smoked some strangely potent weed with a Hippie outside of said Bar.

Let him go.

With the way certain female teachers are acting these days, you have to let your son go.

There' will be nuns and priests on this trip , so I don't think there will be much of that going on.

Do you really want your child to be "sheltered"? You have to cut the umbilical cord at some point.

In 1975 we had a priest chaperone our senior trip to PCB. He brought two hot broads with him and they all stayed in the same motel room.
And yes, there was a lot of that going on-and more. Let him go.

I'm afraid with so many Christians being in DC that it may be a prime opportunity for some crazy to do something stupid.
