They will stop the rioters in thier tracks.
Need to employ there before real bullets start flying everywhere.
Added benefit, it will wash the streets down as well.

I said the same last night. I don't understand how a blast of water is anymore racist than tear gas cannisters, but that is the perception since they were used in the civil rights era.

In the 60's there used squirt hoses.
We have really improved the water Cannons now. These new ones can take out a rioter at a 100 yards.
Lot less painful than rubber bullets.

I get wanting to stop rioters (not peaceful protestors), but no one should make a conscious effort to become like 1960’s Birmingham.
