this theory is just something ugly people came up with to feel better about themselves
if you're really all the smart/knowledgeable you have a width and breadth of a variety of subject matter to at a minimum have a simple conversation with anyone

Having high IQ can really be a detriment. Having the social awareness to tone it down and use it to your benefit is where it’s at.
Sometimes the general populace doesn’t want that pie in the sky 6 dollar word thinking.

Think high IQ people aren't locked in their own heads. Probably autistic which enables extreme concentration in one area. The logical type of thinking these people have makes it difficult to understand something as unrestrained as human behavior outside of a strict textbook knowledge.
