If you had a terrible headache, and I gave you a bottle of pills, and nine of the pills would cure you, and one of the pills would kill you, would you take a pill?" "And I look at him, and I said, 'Depends on how [expletive] bad the headache is.'"

The majority would have said no I‘m not taking the pill. People rather go through life existing as opposed to actually living. The minute I can’t get up or go around and do things that I love doing, I don’t want to be here. How people can be perfectly fine with giving up 5-6 months of their life sheltering in place, is mind boggling.

So you'd trade fleeting pain that will go away for a 10% chance of death?

Because Americans don’t like liberty anymore. They want daddy government to hold their hands and lead them through life.

Use a little context if that's not too much for your brain to handle

My life has never been better than these last few months. Maybe you just need to make a better life for yourself.

How selfless of you to risk the health of the more vulnerable population so you can continue your all important life per the usual.

Lol. So I’m supposed to live my life worrying about whether other people choose to protect themselves or not? GTFO

I’ve done more for others over the last year, than you ever will.

I did. OP said a terrible headache, not chronic migraines with no hope for a cure. A terrible headache can temporarily prevent someone from living the way he or she wants, but in and of itself, it isn't something I'd call a life-changing, debilitating condition. In my opinion, a cure isn't worth a 10% chance of death.

The truth is that the common man's love of liberty, like his love of sense, justice and truth, is almost wholly imaginary. As I have argued, he is not actually happy when free; he is uncomfortable, a bit alarmed, and intolerably lonely. He longs for the warm, reassuring smell of the herd, and is willing to take the herdsman with it. Liberty is not a thing for such as he. He cannot enjoy it rationally himself, and he can think of it in others only as something to be taken away from them. It is, when it becomes a reality, the exclusive possession of a small disreputable minority of men, like knowledge, courage and honor. A special sort of man is needed to understand it, nay, to stand it - and is inevitably an outlaw in democratic societies. The average man doesn't want to be free. He simply wants to be safe.

Hold up, the vulnerable people are the ones who need to be proactive in protecting themselves not the other way around. Its not selfish its called living your life.
This virus isnt killing healthy people, old, fat or immune compromised folks are going to feel the burden.
