It's in the Bible.

Where would Catholics be if they started excluding Gnostics? Oh, the horror and tyranny of organized religion!

It's in the Bible.

I was a Catholic until the Vatican started to hide pedophiles and move them around the country with the upper hierarchy knowing about it. I am not ok at all with you messing with kids in any way. The fact that you covered it up and paid everybody off without admitting fault means you lose me.

I mean...they're not wrong. And why would any Catholic want to join the Free Masons? They're rabid anti-Catholics, with one of their founding tenets being the eventual destruction of the Catholic Church.
From what I can gather, this is true historically. However, from what I can gather, American Freemasonry moved considerably away from this old truth during and after WW2.
Yes, historically in Europe, Freemasonry was an aggressive opponent of Catholocism.
The USA? The USA has always been a Protestant country. Catholics can't allow themselves to be shocked by Anti Catholicism here in the USA for this reason.

It means that some sins are worse than other sins. The Epistle of St. James is very clear on this.

According to who?
The Church. Christ is the Truth, Scripture proclaims His Truth, and the Church - according to St. Paul - is the "pillar and bulwark" of the Truth.

LOLOL
As a Catholic I don’t care anymore what the Vatican says, especially that planted demon pope.
I know priests have to tread cautiously with that current pope but the priest at our parish has made it known that he cannot in good faith do the alphabet soup people thing nor will he condone a man trying to be a chick or a chick trying to be a dude.
Fortunately our parish remains firm in those stances and is getting even stronger with that stance!

You can do all of these other things that the Bible declares sinful, though, no problemo according to the Pope.

There are multiple places that say one sin can be worse than another.
John 19:11
James 3:1
I Corinthians 6:18
For starters.

But you can cut off your weiner and/or marry your same-sex partner and that's completely OK with this Pope.

In God's eyes some sins are worse than others. That doesn't mean Christ didn't pay for all sins, but the punishments / consequences are different.

Who are we talking about? Catholics or masons?

probably just wants to make sure no money goes to the Masons that might otherwise have gone to the church

I'm Catholic, A Freemason, and a Knight, and I know for a fact some old timers in KoC are also Freemason's. They like I don't give much of a shite what the Vatican says about the matter
Posted on 11/16/23 at 9:53 am to texasmason
all Freemasonry really is is a bunch of old white dudes meeting up at a predetermined location to shoot the shite and hang out, while cosplaying as some sort of uber secretive, shadowy organization doing the moving and shaking of the world... it's basically a super secret potluck dinner with a bunch of old folk

I mean...it's fairly clear in the Bible that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is 100% unforgivable.

Yeah, but what exactly does that mean? There was one situation one time that is a bit obscure with zero supporting passages that I'm aware of.
