The place for solar is the frickin desert. Not in the south where trees actually grow.

The best solution is nuclear. I understand 50 years ago we had issues like 3 mile island and Chernobyl. But certainly those should offer us data on what went wrong and how to build better facilities. These are what we should be building, but we have to build them in the right places... not on fault lines, near costal areas or places like that.

As for the solar farm in Mobile... it will be great until a hurricane comes and blows all the panels 100 miles inland.

People think companies like blackrock are taking up the land and driving up prices.

Yeah lets get mad at blockrock.

But the goverment, passed the legislation to allow anyone corporations, countrys, private, institutions to buy up large parcels of land. For write offs to decresase either 02 emissions or energy.

So that is a product of that legislation.

It's literally retarded to destroy green space for solar farms.

Put panels on top of warehouses or big box stores.

They make high load modules now that are cat 5+ rated. Idk if they’ll use them for this but they exist. I doubt Alabama will make them use them but I parts of Florida they’re mandatory.

Back in October I was up in the far northwest corner of Tennessee in Lake County, very close to Reelfoot Lake. There was several hundred acres of solar farms where cornfields use to be. It was the first time in about 7 years since I'd been in that area...It blew my mind when I saw it...That area is pretty much rural farm land...I have zero idea what they are using all that power on.
