On the top of the page there is still a “Bottom” button to jump to the bottom but it’s annoying we still don’t have the button to jump to the top from down the page. Can this be added?

Chicken..

Is there an option or an idea to be able to click on a "my post in this thread" like there is the option to click on "My post on this board"

ie:

Are you on a mobile device? The Emoticons are hidden on mobile because there is no enough space. Are you seeing them on classic? If so what device?

I like all the changes so far, but please bring the old "Thanks for posting" banner back. The new one doesn't seem to fit the current color scheme / theme. The old one was perfect.

With this one You might check if you have something blocking twimg dot com (twitter’s media hosting site or something else with twitter).

Even if you don’t run one Browsers and VPN providers can have their own anti-tracking services or malicious website checks built in that you have to adjust in settings if too aggressive or just turn off if too aggressive and no way to adjust.

Also, Don’t put it past a tracker/ad blocker service from starting to label something they don’t like anymore as dangerous. They usually have options to use additional filter lists to adjust level of filtering that are made and shared by 3rd parties who also get aggressive, make a mistake, or also label sites & services as malicious/dangerous or trackers out of spite.

it was the post #8 reply to the OP

the pictures are missing from those two posters who replied. (but this might be that other hosting issue you were talking about)

Something on the 1st page of that discussion is from pervertslut dot com, but I think it’s OweO’s post. I had to turn off block porn to see the pic in his reply. The pic he posted isn’t showing porn, but I don’t know what the site actually is.

The website may just be incorrectly flagged as porn due to its name, but until I turned off block porn OweO’s post looked exactly as you describe the 2 posts you mention above where you don’t see anything.

Edit: the images for #8 may have been removed but link left up.
I don’t see #2, and the only other domains coming up blocked outside of porn for me are ytimg . com (youtube images), blogspot . com (owned by google), and googleusercontent . com (server/hosting of content run by google)

Without changing settings back & forth I can’t get full hyperlink address for those right now, and it can either be 1 or more of those domains I mentioned being completely blocked or that something on 1 or more of those domains are linking to the pictures you can’t see here on another website that’s being blocked (that’s what I can’t see right now without changing settings and seeing full address for the image).

To check full domains remove the spaces on both side of the . for the 3 websites listed above to see if all are accessible to you using browser or browsers.

Edit2: Also set TD settings to view images as links to check on the direct link.

Twing is twitter’s media server where uploaded images in tweets are stored. It can be blocked if something is blocking twitter as a whole, but the domain itself (twing) can be blocked independently allowing anything else stored on twitter or x . com to still be viewed. Also, Some pics of tweets here on tigerdroppings may actually have been upload to another website and not be hosted on twitter (just a pic of a tweet). It just depends on each post.

Click on a direct link to the pic at twing and see if you can see image directly on their website. If you can’t it’s blocked. The image is a screenprint image of text over 2 partial pages talking about Biden’s memory issues.

Also check setting on your SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition

well at least now i know the why

but i do see the twing picture in the link dallastigers posted, and i see peoples posted
twitter posts and pictures and videos all the time.

thats what is so strange about it.

as for the browser doing it, i guess it could be that but i hate google chrome with a passion, and not liking firefox either, i tried Vivaldi, but it looked like a bad copy of edge

im a keep it simple guy, so i just want a small browser footprint without all the bells and whistles i will never use.

thats why im still on win 10 and using the edge browser.

i just use my computer to come here and watch the 2 yr olds fight on the forums and to check out the NSFW threads

It was my personal settings on the particular device I am currently using that were blocking porn not a setting for tigerdroppings.

ok, but i saw your picture so then that means its not that twitter thing doing it right?

It’s likely not a direct block of twitter’s twing site as you can see image when you view it directly at twing.

Edit: besides the below troubleshooting you can change TD settings to view images as links and then get direct links to images you can’t see to see if domain blocked or pic just removed. I forgot about this setting when I posted, but a link to pic shows up even if I couldn’t see the image before. Switch back to showing images afterwards.
******************

There still could be a setting or extension that is limiting it from being viewed when it’s viewed inline on another website like TD but shows it when you view it directly on host’s website like that direct link or some other cross-domain setting. It could also be a bug with Edge and needs to be updated like Chicken mentioned.

I would first check if any Edge updates and then try disabling your spyware software and any extensions you may use in Edge (including maybe for the spyware), empty cache, close & relaunch edge, and go to these specific threads and check on pics again.

Open in a private window and check again

I usually empty cache between various troubleshooting attempts to reload all data from site.

If still issue you then have to go through Edge settings and troubleshoot. I don’t use windows, but my kid does for college. Before starting college with it I can remember some occasional issues with images not showing using Edge that were fine using Chrome, on other devices, and/or on with older computer. There were ways to get very specific on allowing or disabling various images with Edge. We went into Edge settings for privacy (built in tracking blocks) Cookies and site permissions to troubleshoot thru stuff for images and JavaScript and other edge settings.

Some of checks I saw on some help sites, but I didn’t save them. Some I saw after searching again were:

https://www.webnots.com/how-to-fix-images-not-showing-issue-in-microsoft-edge/
